When I try and check a route to my handheld device I'm getting an error Message LUBE-IT was unable to read registry value [SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI\SP3_ODBC]. This could mean You have insufficient Registry rights. What does this mean and how do I fix it?
This error is usually caused by the user not have rights to update information in the registry. During the Check-Out process LUBE-IT needs to be able to update the path for the ODBC Datasource SP3_ODBC which it uses to transfer information from LUBE-IT onto the Handheld Device. In order to correct this issue you must have Change rights for the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI\SP3_ODBC You can either have your IT person give Full Contol to the key or Special Permissions similar to the those below...

I'm trying to use the Text File Import Utility, but its rejecting all my records with an error of "Incorrect Number of Fields". I've verified that the files have the correct number of fields. What is happening.
Check the file version of you Text_Import4.exe file. From inside LUBE-IT go to Help / About LUBE-IT / Versions. If the file version is 4.0.1.17 then the text file requirements have changed from those in the Manual and Online help. You should have a file in your LUBE-IT root directory called "NewTextFileRequirements.rtf" it contains the new text file requirements. If you cannot find the file you can download it by clicking here.

There are three main steps you need to follow when installing onto a Vista workstation. - When installing LUBE-IT onto a Windows Vista based workstation, it is recommended that you install to the Public folder. If you Public folder is C:\Users\Public then a good path for the installation would be:

I am trying to run LUBE-IT and RBMWare/AMS Machinery Health Manager on the same workstation. But once I install LUBE-IT on the workstation RBMView errors when trying to run reports. What is causing this?
The error is caused by a registry value that the LUBE-IT workstation configuration utility adds. This registry value is no longer required by LUBE-IT and is not needed by RBMView. By removing the registry value you will be able to run both LUBE-IT and RBMWare on the same workstation without errors. The registry key you should remove is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Seagate Software\Jet
Cut and past the text below between the two rows of asterisks into a blank text file. Name the text file seagatejet.reg. Then simply double click on the seagatejet.reg file to update your registry
